School Lunches Made Simple

Back to school is right around the corner. One of the biggest time savers in the morning is to prep school lunches for the week. While we all know that the kiddos can be fickle about what they eat each day, prepping a variety of quick meals can give them variety and choices that will be sure to please their palette that day. Below are a few quick ideas. Pair them with water, juice, smooties or milk for a complete and nutritious meal.

  • Turkey and cheddar roll-up, fresh berries, yogurt and trail mix
  • Hummus, pita bread, cucumbers, grape tomatoes and sliced oranges
  • Deli meat and cheese kabobs, red pepper slices, applies and fruit snacks
  • Almond butter and jelly sandwich (crust optional!), string cheese, fruit cup and chips
  • Hard boiled eggs, baby carrots, pretzels and applesauce
