March may be the snowiest month, but that doesn't stop us from thinking of the warm, sunny days to come. For me, spring can't come soon enough. Thankfully, the official start of spring is less than two weeks away! Soon the kiddos will be off school for spring break. For some this means vacation trips to warmer places like Florida, California or even Mexico. For others, it's a staycation that needs to be filled with enough fun to keep the kiddos happy and you sane (this is the boat we're usually on). So what will you be doing on spring break?

Events Not To Miss
The Wiz at Children's Theatre Company - I took my tot to see The Wiz and it was FANtastic! Highly recommend to ease on down and see this show before it ends. Now extended through March 25 due to popularity.
Signs of Spring - Get outside and find the signs of spring to come! Take a hike around Westwood Hills Nature Center and taste sap from the Northwoods Maple Trees. March 8.
Make, Take & Shop - Visit with the retailers at Golden Valley Town Square center and you'll walk away with style tips and take-home crafts at Mainstream Boutique, homemade bird food rings at Amy Lea'N Me, paint a folk art birds masterpiece with guided instruction by Paint, Paper, Scissors, and when all your crafting is done, visit Triple D Espresso to enjoy a sweet treat and a warm cup of coffee. March 10.
