Family Story Time -- Weekly throughout May

Talk, sing, read, write and play together at one of the family story sessions at your local library. Share books, stories, rhymes, music, movement and more in a comfortable, family-friendly setting.

Walk with the Mayor – May 1 

Join your community and kick off the Step To It Challenge with Mayor Slavik.

Barnes & Noble Weekly Storytime – Weekly throughout May

Join the team at Barnes & Noble every Friday for children's storytime. Every Friday features a different story. 

Coffee with Cops – May 5

As part of the Plymouth Police Department's increased focus on community outreach, residents can get to know police officers. Ask questions, see the inside of a squad car and enjoy a cup of coffee with some of the men and women of the Plymouth Police Department.

Free First Saturday: Move to the Music – May 5

Get together at Free First Saturday in May and enjoy folk singer Alastair Moock’s rompin’ concert, featuring tunes for the whole family! Then, visit the exhibition Jason Moran to learn about jazz—and let the musical inspiration carry you throughout the day.

Write Letters to Our Troops – May 5

Our military troops appreciate hand-written letters of appreciation. Write letters to active military members for the nonprofit organization Operation Gratitude.

Mainstreet Day – May 19

The annual Mainstreet Day Arts and Crafts Festival will feature more than 140 vendors from around the Midwest selling a variety of handmade items, including jewelry, home décor, art, accessories, lotions and soaps, and more! There will also be food vendors, kids’ activities and live entertainment throughout the day.

Walk the Park – May 19

Join the community walking events where everyone will meet for a 1-2 mile walk each month.

Bark in the Park – May 19

Spoil your favorite Furry friend out at the park and meet other dog lovers. Activities and contests along with information and products from local vendors will all be onsite. It's going to be a great time!

Kick-Off to Summer Safety – May 19
